    Default Heighten not working with acid rain

    As the subject says, just took a look at the new reflex save on the first tick of acid rain, and heighten does not work with it. This may be intended, but that seems unlikely.

    If you are going to add a save for 1 of the 4 ticks, at least let me have the option to boost the save.

    Although considering the smallish area and lack of sp efficiency when maximizing/empowering, I ended up just recasting vanilla acid rain with my spell-like abilities. At around 15 sp it kind of follows a logical progression with the 3 earth savant spell-like abilities. However, the constant toggling of maximize and empower got real old, real fast, but maybe that is best for another thread.....

    At least earthgrab has seemingly infinite range and shoots through walls.

    Heighten doesn't work with Firewall if I remember right, so not surprised it doesn't work with Acid rain.

    Imo, I like it not working with heighten, until they let you select what spells your metamagics apply to.
    Let like stacking bonuses scale down tiers; i.e. wearing a +2 dodge/excep. item and a +2 dodge/excep. item currently is only +2; let the 2nd +2 item imitate a +1 item, giving you +3. Allow this for all stacking bonuses (Heal. Amp 30->20->10) Absorption (20->15->10)etc. Lowest tier bonuses (10 Heal Amp, 10 absorb, 1 dodge) do not scale down ever.

    With the reduced SP cost for nukes, but no reduction for heighten..

    enabling heighten would MASSIVELY reduce the spells overall damage to spellpoint ratio. (more nerfs we dont need)

    (It 15 sp normally, it would be 40 sp heightened, nearly a +200% increase, for likely less then a 10% increase in total dmg dealt delt)

    It's not something anyone wants that understands the importances of SP managements. (and likes to keep heighten on for other puproses, such as web)

    Until they allow us to selectively enable heighten per spell, it should be left as unavailable.
