    I agree this seems to be a bad change. Why not nerf ranged damage as well seeing as you buffed the distance ranged sneak attack works from? Weakening sub-standard play styles only hurts people trying unique builds... this adds nothing to the game and only makes it more cookie cutter.

    Please reconsider the AM changes.

    My Wiz was PM before his TR.. Didn't like it and wanted a reason to continue as warforged, since I like the non-standard D&D race.. It add's to the Eberron experience at least for me

    Might still be viable to be sorc wf.. Selfheal+DPS (even though Helfs can scrollheal and have higher dc.. And DPS will be nerfed in update 10 )

    But back to the thread, sorry for the sidestep.

    right I'm not saying all the time but there will be occasions that you are out of sp and with echoes of power, a Wizard is gonna be extremely powerful at CC still *dropping webs and resistible dances and hypnos* and while considering that wizards run out of SP quicker I think it's only balancing that a Sorc when out of SP should generate a more significant amount of dps.

    Looking at boss dps with the addition of echoes of power and the added efficiency of many new or reworked spells. It will be good too dump your sp. In this scenerio you will benefit greatly from echoes of power and I believe it is important that the sorc *using anyone of the savant pres) can maintain a higher lv of dps. (though fire savants are out of luck here in many raids, I think you'll see evocation archmages out dpsing them in elite shrouds and the like).
    Real life is a worse grind than any MMO.

    It will still be extremely viable to pick up one or two of the evocation SLAs considering the change to many spells that make it easier to burn SP on boss DPS.

    I believe Echoes of Power will improve dps for and Evocation archmage in prolonged boss battles even with the given change to the SLAs. (because you will burn out of sp alot quicker keeping up surge, and frost dots while using polar ray, and melf's acid arrow as an example)
    Real life is a worse grind than any MMO.
