    Default Green Steel HP Item?

So I'm about to craft a green steel HP cloak for my warchanter bard. Is it better to get +6 to constitution (concentration checks) or dexterity (open lock) skills? I'm thinking dexterity since I use my sp for buffing only (no healing) and dexterity can also help out balance.

    Thoughts?

It's all about what guard/whatever you want. In general the skill checks are a bonus unless you really need the points in a certian skill (usually UMD or Intim). You can get some pretty nice guards and to me that would be the more important decision rather than the skill boost.

This is what I did for my warchanter and I'm loving it

Con-Op is more important then skill checks, and con op also comes with +6 wis, +10 haggle and diplo and +5 to all con skills and +1 to all str skills.

Strip it of all the skill help, and just the HP and ConOp would be worth the crafting.

Earthgrab would also be another consideration, but the SP that you get back from ConOp is better on a warchanter I think.

Again, hate me all you want, but creating a whole new realm takes priority over a broken bag. This is pretty much true of a few of the other issues that crept in today also.

Thanks... I already have a pair of green steel boots with +6 CHA skills and SP. I think I might go with the conc opposition.

While I would say this is the best option as well because it will work through multiple TR's and builds, it takes quite a bit longer to construct than a tier 3 HP item so if (as you say) your bard doesn't use up his/her spell pool then I would consider a single shard HP item (specifically if you don't have the ingredients and/or it will take you months to gather the ingredients for a double shard item)
