some of those are worth selling or trading off but if your saving up for the deconstruction then I would deconstruct a good amount of them IMHO

I've started stockpiling some good deconstructables for U9, so I'm clearing my bank of anything I don't need. Note that I'm rather oblivious as to the value of many of these items, so I'll generally accept the first reasonable offer made even if I think the item is worth more. I guess I don't quite get how crafting system works.
Earnest question: why would you suggest disjointing those items?

I do in fact intend on deconstructing most of the leftover longswords, and your list is largely consistent with my appraisal of the items. The one big exception is the holy burst greater lawful bane (first on the list). It was my impression that against devils that have dr//good OR silver (most devils in Shavarath), this weapon would significantly outdamage mineral and lightning greensteel.

Greater banes yield fairly good materials, and most of the swords have limited scope so they're not exceptionally valuable. Personally I had as many as 40 longswords on my hotbars at a time while leveling my fighter (which is how I kept leading the kill count with sword/board right up to elite vale) but at level 18-20 I was only switching between a small number of them.

Being higher ML they have a relatively limited window of usability.

Too bad current crafting system won't allow us to squeeze out every enchantment from a given item.
Most of those weapons have both effective prefixes and suffixes.
If we could selectively disjoint gear, I would be more comfortable tampering with otherwise nice items.
Too bad we can't just drain the +5 part; that would further lower ML, and extend the item life at lower levels.

Sold some stuff, deconstructed the ****, and got a few interesting acquisitions (in bold). Also, now that crafting is here and it's easier to make DR breakers, I'm willing to part with the ones I have for less.
