While she is, of course, objectively the best musician in the world and as unto a god, some misguided fools don't seem to like her music. I was wondering whether our unusual MMO community possessed clarity of vision or if they were more heathen scum than that.

I think she is a brilliant songwritter and amazing pianist, but is overshadowed by her unusual "stage persona"

Meh, she's "ok". I prefer Sully from Godsmack, or Wayne Static from Static X. Female vocalists would be Dido or Sandra Nasic from the Guano Apes.

That chick is wackadoo. She has severe mental problems probably stemming from abusive relationships. Her music is likened to a screeching Harpy sharpening it's naills on a blackboard. She has zero talent. Ohh and my sister wont effing stop playing her so yeah she can burn in a lake of fire.... IMHO

Her music videos are pretty cool.

I don't work in an environment where I'm forced to listen to Top 40 radio hits repeatedly, I can see how pop musicians would annoy people that do work in such environments.

I wouldn't have heard of her except for the inevitable comments complaining about her and Justin Bieber on pretty much any music video on youtube. I'm not sure why these comments are inevitable, but they seem to be on every music video on the website.

She is just another pop singer. Like most she has an ok voice and above average coordination. Soon another young lady very much like her will take her place. It is the way the music industry works. I figure in a year or so she'll do a duet CD with Justin Bieber as both exit the scene.

She is very talented. Ridonkulous body. And severely eccentric. Whats not to love.

She has two redeeming qualities. She can play, and she can sing.
That's it.
But there are plenty of female musicians that can both sing and play, and many of them can also write songs as well. Some of them are even easy on the eyes. Most of them aren't people that I wouldn't be afraid to meet in person.
Lady Gaga meets none of the latter criteria.

Lily Allen is both more talented lyrically, and hotter. And also isn't a pretentious fruit loop claiming to be 'artistic'. Lady Gaga does make **** catchy tunes though.

Overall, I'd prefer to listen to Tori Amos or Sheryl Crow

I'd rather have Rebecca Black follow me around the rest of my life singing, rather than hear one more Gaga **** song. (S)He is an untalented singer, with a great mind for marketing. I would place money that it sounds like gerbils in the garbage disposal without multimillion dollar sound processors. It is a product of MTV, which pushes beautiful puppets singing someone else's music through sound processors that could make a raped goat sound like Pavarotti. The great artists of music would have failed horribly if MTV was around back then.

Decent voice, but terrible lyrics and terrible music. Simply because of the repetition of the same thing over and over and over and over again, and the lack of good instrumental play.

In my opinion, there are no better singers than Jorn Lande, Mikael Kiske and Mathew Barlows. And luckily, these amazing singers are singing in bands that don't repeat the same thing over and over, such as Iced Earth, Avantasia, Masterplan, Place Vendome. And when it comes to female singers Amanda Summerville is hard to top. Who is backup singing in many of Avantasia's songs.
