    Isn't combat expertise stance costing arcane casters extra sp to cast spells?

    Personally, I wouldn't bother with AC on a shield toting wiz. The 15% reduction to incoming physical dmg + displacement = pretty frickin awesome.

    Hell, I'd even be tempted to drop the displacement and go with torc and concord-op.
    Some toons with Cow in the name, and some without.

    Yeah. CE doubles spell point cost while it is up.

    What I'd do if I were to go this route: Epic Spyglass with -15% ASF slotted in the green slot and tote the Lorrik's around. 15 blocking DR and the spylgass negates the ASF from the shield.

    I'm actually planning to do that sans the Shield mastery feat on my pure level 20. Spyglass acquired, but the shield is eluding me
