When epic mobs still regenerate a neg level every 6 seconds (ie every 12 or so swings)?

I don't think they'll be as good as you're hoping.

Drop several neg levels real quick, kills the mobs max HP to below 1k, vorpal from other melee. It could be great support. Will have to see when U9 goes live; I don't have Lam.

I made a couple (which I posted pics of in another thread) the proc rate is about the same as the dreamspitter, which is about every 3 or so crits.

I'm sure someone else can do the math.

I made 2 +3 Holy Scimitars of Life stealing and one composite longbow like that. Procs fairly often. I'd say a repeater rogue with a life stealing (due to it's better crit range) will probably be a really cool niche using that.

if Vorpal will ever be a recipe a vorpal x of life stealing will be a fairly interesting weapon in some Epics.

I'm considering making a couple Keen Life Stealer scimitars for my cleric to replace the Shadow Staff, but my guess is that with the lower mob HP and lower crit chance, it will be pretty pointless. Time to dust off the Vorpal, probably.
