    Cold savant question: What sort damage were you getting (ungeared) on triple-stacked Niac's Biting Cold?

    Same here, I revert the colors on every created character. Even just the test ones.
    I do take it a step further and put bright yellow on all "joined" Party members. Whoever thought dull Gray for party members playing in dark dungeons a good idea, was without their morning coffee that day!

    Air is viable.. It does 'work'.

    But so far what i've seen is acid or cold is a better savant. Empower those spells that do the most damage. AND don't have screwy casting mechanics that don't flow well for fast combat.

    I'd rank it as.... acid>fire|cold>electric. Fire and cold are very comparable. They just fit the best to different areas of the game overall.

    I am sure Air will work with standard gear...I just had a much easier time with Cold, with no gear.
