    Agreed. I haven't put boots on my Sorcerer (now Wizard TR) or Cleric because there is jack from ToD I want or need for them.

    Tested last night if I could handle standing in the Shadows on Elite on a Drow sorc. With a Tier 3 GS Cold Absorption item, a good dr shield, and spamming protection from elements on yourself a healer barely has to heal you. Its ridiculously easy just cast a firewall or cloudkill every 30 secs. So not to worried if they made them faster.

    I donno about you, but ALL my casters want +4 tomes.

    I do not know if I trust the testing exactly, but if the devs did change it I approve of and like the change. When the quest first came out we completed a couple of towers by kiling the shadowfiend via blade barriors - it was alot of fun. There are so few mobs that will really kill you if they hit you like the shadowfiends and this is the sort of thing that would make the game more fun and challenging. I would also enjoy more mobs like the shadowfiends in DDO.

    Lol yes with special gear and constant spamming of prot elements you will not die. I love when folks talk smack like this. Lets see you do the same thing 10 out of 10 times. I double dog dare yeah.

    Well, fire and lightning is readily available through Fire Greaves and Djinn Ring(both unbound items). Cold is only in shroud, might be intentional.
