If you cast Acid Blast or Melf's as a proper spell, you cannot cast the equivalent SLA until the spell's CD has elapsed.
Kinda defeats the purpose.

Has been the same with archmage missiles for a while too. Its no extra problem to use the SLA first (beter as it saves you sp if you don't need the second shot).
