Can we have greater dragonmark beta carotene?

Greater mark of beta carotene: When cast, you grant your character level in diplomacy checks made against chests. If the target is a brocolli, they get an additional +5.

Make sure successful checks stack with the loot gems too.

Will dessert not be added to the loot tables until all monster broccoli has been cleared from the dungeon?

    Follow up:

Is there a advantage of adding green hair dye to my afbroc?

Will stalk'ing provide a sneak attack bonus?

Do my ranger get any advantage from using Camo?

Are we going to see more herbavores as monsters now with favorite enemy broc?

Will I be safe from freaky plant monsters in red fen?

When it rains does it act like a cure light wound?

Do corrosive salt do double damage to me?

Should I be worried about the cook in the droaam end quest?

I just found out that Broccoli also have unique abilities when combined with the Favored Soul class. Among some of the abilities are:

Divine Butter - A rain of melted butter smites your enemies, behaving as both the "Grease" spell, and divine light. The enemy must make a will save of 30 or be coated in delicious flavoring that causes them to take double damage from piercing weapons and fire. 40 Spell points per cast.

Stalks of Retribution - Your Broccoli stalks become as a hammer, smiting all enemies within for 50d6 Holy, Force, and Light Damage. Enemies such as bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and fresh cucumbers (As well as their undead variants, the sour pickle!) must pass both a will and a fortitude check of 25 or squashed instantly!

These unique abilities are over-powered! DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMZZZZZ (TM)
No one found my joke even remotely funny? :/

I need to work on my humor more.

Anyways, thanks Eladrin for commenting on the Broccoli race.

Brocs should get a racial bonus for using a specific heavy mace: the one that looks like a stalk of Brussels sprouts. I've always wanted to get a green (acid) version of that mace.

While Broccoli will be a race for players, we'll also be adding broccoli to the dungeons. We're expecting traffic in the Inspired Quarter to really pick up as people start seeking out more plant-bane weapons. It's been challenging for our artists to bring broccoli to life, but the introduction of the Vinestalkers in Red Fens was a breakthrough for the team. We knew we'd be ripping their arms and legs off one day for future content.

    Default Rise of the Broccoli!

Thanks so much to all of you coming out in support of our new race!

The popularity of the /lfb (Looking for Broccoli) emote skyrocketed in recent months, overtaking /lfh (Looking for Ham) by a surprising amount. It reflects the change since Free To Play in the way players want to consume content... When presented with choices, many have shown they don't want meat products like the beefy Half-orc. Sometimes they are looking for content that they can sink their teeth into and know they're getting good vitamins too.

Please continue to show your support in game with /lfb and spread the Broccoli love!

    Cheers,
    -Fernando.

I somewhat agree with this statement. Not a waste of time exactly, yet the joke would have been more controversial - and fun to watch - if the new race had been, oh, perhaps minotaur. That would have generated a metric s#it-ton of OMG - Dooooooommmm posts.
