Can't load game

When I start up the game I can log in fine and it loads to the main menu. Except at the main menu the background is all black. I can still see the buttons like character creation and when I click that, I see all the buttons but I don't see that character appearance. But when I try to start the game, it just says loading without the bar ever filling up at all. I have been able to run DDO previously for the past few months. My graphics card is an Intel Family Chipset or something like that (yes, I know, it sucks). If anyone has had this problem and they know how to fix it, that would be appreciated.

Edit: I figured it out. I had set the settings to DirectX10, when I guess my graphics card only supports DirectX9.
