Contagion Slimy Doom not Earth Savant Spell?

This specific disease does acid damage over time. Yet I did not see it in Eladrin's list of Spells affected by Earth Savant.

Is it because it is not Conjuration? Stoneskin is Abjuration and is affected by Earth Savant prestige.

Reall just curious if this is an oversight, or if it just wont be an Earth Spell.

I wouldn't even waste a spell slot on it anyway, since there are so many no-save acid spells.

Possibly because it's not listed in the selection of Spells boosted by Acid Enhancements.

Similar to how Prismatic Ray element damage was boosted by force enhancements rather than element types.

um perhaps you don't understand what the pre does?

cuz if you did, why would you care?

The pre only increases caster level (for spells in its list)..

Contagion is not a spell that benefits from a higher caster level. Since it does not scale, and ignores SR.. (and even has unlimited duration)

Even if they put it in the list, it wouldn't have any benefits..

So they could very well reply and say:

Oh sorry, added it to the list for ya!

And you may be happy.

Yet, it would have no impact on gameplay.

You're right. I was just thinking it wouldn't benefit from the Awaken Elemental Weakness, but it actually would. As it amplifies all acid damage.
