Hash code error?

Since the update this morning, I haven't been able to log in. I can't get past the game update screen. It keeps getting stuck on Update Programs, and I keep receiving this message: "There was an error generating the hash code for a patch file." I'd really like to be able to play at some point today, so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Just as information this error and the 4000 error are both due to connection issues. In one case (4000) it is because part of the package has either been missed or what was received is incomplete. in the case of the hash code it is simply there was too much traffic on the line at the time of connection which mainly is caused due to poor or unstable I.S.P connection.

Whichever error you receive the best solution is to shut down the program wait a few mins (possibly check you connection speeds and packet loss ratios), and try again!! it can take between two and two-hundred trys so if your luck holds up you will be on again in a few if not just try again when your connection is clear(especially if you are a part of a heavily wireless network!)

Anytime! I have been trying to figure it out for a while but then I went to my computer tech proffesor and asked him. He did some testing and showed me what was wrong. Since I love this game a lot and am a big fan of Pnp style play I try and help where the support fails. Have fun and hope to see you in game sometime. Same name as forum mainly server is "Thelanis"
