Any idea what’s up with the “Trace of Madness” ability? Or is that something for Update 10?
Any idea what’s up with the “Trace of Madness” ability? Or is that something for Update 10?
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
99% its U10. Certainly saw no way to do it in the current update, and I ran each quest multiple times thoroughly.
The "Lord of Eyes" is likely the endboss of the chain, and the guy who has the altar/area that unlocks the items. He is currently referenced in the current chain, and listed in the compedium as the name of a quest - level17 twelve favor.
Acording to ppl who know the lore, hes some kinda mega beholder boss. Hope hes actaully challenging unlike the current pack.
Most like it works like the last few updates.. Like U7/U8... Or IQ followed by DD unlocks.
One of those "well you got this item, so stay subscribe/buy more ddo poitns and unlock it next patch" gotchas..
.: Sarlona - High Lords of Malkier : Reaper Life 1, 2 , 3, and 4 alumnus : My Twitch : Trans and Proud : (she/they please) :.
.: Inamorata (Goddess of Sticks) / Signalmixer (Vorpal Queen) / Darkchylde-1 (Fiend Voodulock) / Groundloop : Plus so many others! :.
umm, anyone know where the weapon called Insanity drops from?
Khyber - Nuic (TR), Zapn (TR), Alixer, Nuiq
The Lord of Eyes could explain the effect that happens everytime you see a piece of evidence in the Missing. The Lord of Eyes can see through anyones eyes from within his citadel. I'm interested to see if this pack ties into the Waterworks and Marketplace Xoriat invasions. The Hound of Xoriat seems to fit this guys work and waterworks is right by all this other Xoriat activity in the harbor. Very interested in seeing how this pans out in update 10.
Heres the info on Lord Of Eyes for anyone interested in the lore from the Dungeons and Dragons campaign website.
Belashyrra, the Lord Of Eyes.
They are the lords of Xoriat, a realm so utterly alien that mortal minds can’t survive even the briefest exposure. In ages past, they came to Eberron from the Realm of Madness and shaped the world to their whims. At their touch, life becomes corrupt, dreams become nightmares, and reality warp, its laws and patterns forgotten.
They are the daelkyr, and though the doors to Xoriat have long since been sealed, a few remained behind. Although they are trapped in the dark corridors of Khyber by the magic of the Gatekeepers, their influence reaches into the light of day.
Legend has it that six daelkyr yet walk in Khyber, although this number is impossible to confirm. Each of them is immortal, each schemes endlessly, and each is possessed of nigh-godlike power. Perhaps the most infamous and active of them, although not necessarily the greatest, is foul Belashyrra, the Lord of Eyes.
From his Citadel of Lidless Eyes, Belashyrra is said to be able to see through the eyes of any living being. He touches the dreams of cultists who pray in his name and commands foulspawn, mind flayers, aboleths, and, of course, his personal and favorite creation, beholders.
And what does he want? To what purpose does he send arcane knowledge to his cultists and burning ambitions to his aberrant soldiers? As far as any mortal mind can comprehend, Belashyrra sees himself as an artist, and all of Eberron and its people as his canvas. When Belashyrra is done, all the world will be a testament to his talents and beautiful to his eyes alone—and those eyes will be everywhere, so that he might look upon his entire work and smile.
Like most daelkyr, Belashyrra appears in the form of a male human. Yet he wears his human features like a mask, his expressions failing utterly to match the emotional content of his words and body language. When any creature looks into Belashyrra's face, its own eyes stare back at it.

Sounds like he won't be in the next pack. That gives the impression of a Horoth-level raid boss...whose fight involves multiple beholders instead of orthons.
Ouch.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.
ok updated. Think I have all the saltire district items now.
Just need someone ot test the other eternal wands.
Especially:
Brimstone verge
Roderiks
Epic Brimstone Verge now has Superior Combustion VIII. And ML is still 3.
There really should be some way to make that bind to account. When that wand was a plain fireball thing I gave it to my bard, which now in retrospect was a mistake.

Again no heavy repeaters. Why do you even have them in the game if you don't make nice items out of them? Yeah. GS is nice but more variety in unique heavy or light repeaters would be desired.
2 named repeaters in the whole game...2
Berjik Quilos TR1 2 Ranger / 1Fighter || Selyndrila Godeviir 15/2 Ranger/Paladin/Fighter || Felyndrila Godeviir ~ 14 Paladin || Gravitee ~ 20 WF Monk || Fizzcrank Spinbox - 13 WF Wizard || Horox 8/2/2 Bard/Rog/Fighter
Epic Roderick's Wand now has a faster recharge rate now. Tested with stopwatch. On live its 3 mins on Lamania its 30 seconds. Nothing else has changed. Still ML20, 6 charge, and still only summons a cat, troll, efreeti, or Hezrou.
That really could do with an upgrade to grant the Augment Summoning feat if the user doesn't already have it, and to summoning more powerful mobs.
Something like the following:
Roll 1d8:
1 - Hezrou (as Summon 9). HP buffed to 2000 (it's an epic wand, after all). To-Hit increased to +50 so it can hit epic foes.
2 - Dense Stone Earth Ele. HP buffed to 2000, To-Hit buffed to +50.
3 - Bralani Sorcerer (as found in elite Running with the Devils)
4 - Water Elemental (as the rednameds from Epic Into the Deep; but with only 2000 hp instead of the ~30k-50k they have in the quest)
5 - Bearded Devil (as the trash mobs in Elite Shroud, HP dropped to 2000). I think they already have a To-Hit around 50.
6 - Epic Thrakk Hound, as found in ADQ1. To-Hit nerfed to +50 so they actually miss epic foes sometimes.
7 - Air Elemental (as Summon 8). No buffs, that thing is useful anyway.
8 - The wand fails, summoning a CR 2 Celestial Dire Rat that, for some odd reason, has 2000hp but struggles to hit a Shroud portal.
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
