    Default Spells with Incorrect Metamagic Applications

    I've been looking over the spell lists on my wizard and sorcerer, and have noticed several spells currently are affected by metamagic feats which do nothing for said spells:

    LV3
    Halt Undead: Currently affected by Maximize. This issue has been resolved.

    LV4
    Shout: Currently affected by Eschew Materials (no material component listed).
    Burning Blood: Currently affected by Heighten. This issue has been resolved.

    LV5
    Dismissal: Currently affected by Heighten (Spell DC is not modified to match Heightened Spell Level). Possible UI Error. Further testing required.
    Niac's Biting Cold: Currently affected by Heighten. This issue has been resolved.
    Eladar’s Electric Surge: Currently affected by Heighten. This issue has been resolved.

    LV7
    Banishment: Currently affected by Heighten (Spell DC is not modified to match Heightened Spell Level). Possible UI Error. Further testing required.


    Other issues:
    Ray of Exhaustion: No save listed, despite description stating "a successful fortitude save means the creature is only fatigued." Is affected by Heighten.


    I am fairly certain this is not a complete list, so if anyone finds additional issues, I'll do my best to add them.

    Incorrect. The spell level affects the base DC, then your level is added and the mobs HD is subtracted.

    Allow me to clarify:

    Banishment without Heighten:


    Banishment with Heighten:



    Dismissal without Heighten:


    Dismissal with Heighten:



    Note that in both cases, the save does not change, though the cost changes when Heighten is enabled. Apparently the Save DC is set to 10 + Default Spell Level + Caster Level + Appropriate Modifier. However, I agree that it should be based on the Heightened level, given the wording of the DC. As such, I will adjust the original post accordingly.

    Those tooltips are rarely accurate. They often display very weird and incorrect DCs for my spells too, but actually functionality of the spells work correctly.

    One would have to actually test it to verify the dc isn't changing.

    Can add some if you want: Burning Blood... + all the new dots, all heigtenable. But no save.

    As of right now, "Burning Blood" has no option for highten, but still seeing "Dismissal" and Banishment" DC issue. Things are moving in the right direction

    Don't trust the listed DC's for Banishment or Dismissal. The DC changes with the HD of the target and that isn't reflected in what you are looking at properly.
