Will the following items/spells stack and make me go faster?
30% item boost from boots
40% from haste spell
20% from expedious retreat spell
speed boost from shadow walk spell? how much is this anyway?
Please let me know.

None of those stack.
Shadow walk is 50%, so a little faster than Haste.
The only movement speed bonuses that stack are class-based ones (Barbarian and Monk), and Sprint Boost enhancements (Barbarians and Rangers). No spells or items stack.

you can stack one item movement speed enhancer with one spell movement speed enhancer and one enhancement type movement enhancer, so for example, striding +25% + haste + barbarians sprint boost all stack, but haste + exp retreat does not stack (both are spells) not sure weather its additively or what for stacking of speed bosts.
hope that helps

The most you can get would be from shadowwalk in quests or the Pendant Of Time, a Trinket you get for reaching 150 house P favor, that lets you run 50% faster in public instances.
that may be the rule for P&P but in ddo movement speed enhancers are an exception to the rules regarding stacking of spells and items, its limited to one item one spell and one enhancement.
also by your logic a item that increases spell damage does not stack with enhancements that increase the same type of spell damage, except they do and are wai. IMO try it in game, when hasted my ranger (only lvl 16) goes faster when wearing her striding item and even faster when I hit sprint boost.
Some one asked this same question about a month ago, and my answer is what posters like sigtrent, and others posted there.
It should be stated somewhere, there should be some kind of rule book out there for ddo, as it rarely follows D&D 3.5 rules.
I'll try to find the post for you

Striders do not stack with haste, its been asked multiple times and put to test multiple times, haste does nto stack so its better than striders if you got it, and the house P trinket does not stack so its better to use in town since its infinite til you enter an instance. Has nothing to do with the 3.5 rules, its all DDO there. Sprint boost does stack with haste, as does natural faster movement such as barbarians and monks, that is it.
This is simply wrong. Items and spells that produce the same kind of bonus do not stack with each other. Items are essentially just spells made persistent. This is why Bull's Strength doesn't stack with normal STR items.
There's no "one spell, one item, one enhancement" rule. Many items do stack with each other. Like normal +6 STR items and +3 STR ToD rings. Just not speed boosting items.
Enhancements, however, generally do stack with everything else.
That's entirely different. Enhancements you buy with AP do stack with items. You're talking about items stacking with spells.also by your logic a item that increases spell damage does not stack with enhancements that increase the same type of spell damage, except they do and are wai.
I can assure you, your hasted ranger does not go faster by wearing a striding item.IMO try it in game, when hasted my ranger (only lvl 16) goes faster when wearing her striding item and even faster when I hit sprint boost.
Sprint boost certainly does make her go faster, however. I never said otherwise.
I'll bow out to the people with greater experience then me. I may be mistaken, or have misread the post I was referring to. But that seems broken to me, is it wai?
Thanks for the info.
