Bracers of Glacier vs. Vile Blasphemy

basically i am making con. opp. gs. item.

Soooo i am trying to decide between bracers and gloves.

If i make gloves (this is my hp item), i will lose 45 hp when i switch them out to use the Blasphemy clicky

If i make bracers, i have to cast fireshield on myself every now and then.

Same question. Why to use the blasfemy at all? Theres no benefit other than the UMD and the sp clickie.

Need umd? equip it, then unequip it. Need sp? same.

Am I missing anything?

I think he's asking if he should make greensteel gloves, in which case he'd lose 45 hp when using the clicky? I'm not sure, the OP is REALLY confusing. I don't know what any of this has to do with the bracers of the glacier and fire shield.

They add a lot of DPS if you are being hit by a mob (or multiple mobs) that don't resist cold, and they let you fight through some otherwise deadly boss attacks.

Against epic Velah, they add a hell of a lot more DPS than the Epic Claw set does, for example, and give you the option of fighting through her breath if you have Firestorm Greaves and can swap in a Shroud fire absorb weapon.

The glacier set isnt needed in the end? How do you figure that one out. Unless you have alot of uber gs/raid gear to use the glacier set is very nice while you grind out the other items. Also having Archmagi on an item that you don't need to worry bout is along with spell pen VII is very nice.

Nothing a couple of cure serious pots can't cover.

Pick up Pale Master. No more problems.
Or drink a pot or two after swapping.
Or stand next to a Radiant Servant.

Or cast your own fire shield.

What class are you?

If you're cleric then losing 45 HP is nothing since your aura can heal it in 2 ticks.

If you're arcane then you can cast your own Fire Shield,

Its basically one minor gripe vs. another.

do i want to recast fireshield? (bracers is perma)

or do i want to lose 45 hp to use an sp clicky?
