I use the number pad for a lot of my key mapping. I find it much more convenient that using the numbers along the top of my keyboard, as I can reach all of the keys easily without having to move my hand from my attack key.
I recently tried to do some additional key mapping using the number pad and ran into issues. Specifically, I was trying to map another of my hotbars to be Shift-1, Shift-2, Shift-3, etc. I was able to do this mapping to the numbers along the top of my keyboard, but when I tried to do this mapping to the numbers on my number pad, I would end up performing the action currently mapped to key 1, and the keymapping would record only Shift. It seems there is some error when you attempt to map keys to Shift + a number from the num pad.
Some curious notes:
No such issues occur if I try to map Ctrl-1. I can map any key on my num pad in conjunction with Control and it works just fine, only Shift is affected.
If I turn num lock off, the key mapping works fine. I can press Shift-1 and the appropriate action is taken. But if I then turn num lock back on and press Shift-1, it takes that action as if I had pressed only 1.
Has anybody experienced similar issues when trying to key map actions to their number pad in conjunction with Shift?
