According to this post, the healing ki finisher (and presumably the fire finisher), will use class levels instead of character levels. But I couldn't find anything more official to confirm this.

Can someone either provide a link to some official post or go ahead and test this out in Lamannia?

This has some pretty major implications for all those builds with "solar" in their names.

I can confirm the triple light being monk lvls rather than character levels.

To be honest, I'm not that surprised given the tooltip always said MONK lvls rather than character levels. Slightly annoyed that I learned it the hard way in the middle of heated combat but hardly surprised.

But eh....balance is balance....all areas need to be brought into line (eventually) for it to be achieved.

Not really surprised either, just a little saddened... always wanted to try out the solar phoenix, and rolled one up about a week ago.

On the bright side, I haven't spend a year or two gearing him up
