Freeze!? Please help!

Hi,

after playing DDO for a while i got a pretty new computer (Laptop) and at the beginning it went smoothly most of the time, but now im experiencing freezes all the time, especially when mousing over items in my invent or picking up collectibles.

I'm running on a "High" graphics setting but disabled Post Processing and another of the supposedly game slowing extras.

If I click on check optimal settings it switches to "Very High" but I didn't want to use the highest setting all the time.

I seldom have problems w Dancing Balls or other graphic challenging spells but the freezes when I'm using just basic things keep p****** me off.

I know most of it is probably useless but i wasn't sure what to keep.

No expert in reading DX digs, but your graphic and sound drivers are both arond 12 months out of date. Laptop Manufactrers are not exactly great in keeping things up to date, so search the Realtek and Nvidia sites for the latest ones.

It improved the performance a bit, but I still get frozen when mousing over items in inventory.

Any other ideas? Should i go for the DDOStandard or DDOHigh installment?
