    Default Void Strike IV

Sooo.... with the death effect changes, this monk classic didn't get mentioned at all (or I missed it...) Was it effected? If so, what does it do when it procs on mobs with over 1,000 hp? If not, hey, there is some monk loving, we have the only 1,000+ vorpal effect left!

Effects with an opportunity cost (void IV, death spells, assassinate button) were not set to change. Unless it is bugged in Lama that is.

Forgot about assassinate. Death spells I would put in a different category from a potentially infinite attack like a monk strike or assassinate though.

duno if monk is affected, but it shouldn't as Void IV is not death effect (it kills but effect is not death).

Don't look at it from a finite/infinite perspective.

Assassinate requires sneak mode and has a save.
Spells are opposed by Spell Resistance and have a save.
Void 4 requires Ki and must be a vorpal strike to insta-kill.
All of them must be activated.

A vorpal weapon has no requirements other than the attack roll, and has no save attached. It was extremely powerful because nothing stopped it except Death Ward, and it happened an average of 5% of your attacks, with no activation needed.
