Default Acta Sanctorum, a Light(er) Version of the Advocatus Diaboli

This is a build very similar to my Advocatus Diaboli character, with a few key differences. Like the AdvoDia, this is a very gear/tome intensive toon, for pretty much all of the same reasons. Still, it should be a lot of fun to play at endgame. Note - Since this build uses handwraps instead of shortsword, the monk past life is a lot more important to take.

    Acta Sanctorum: 12FvS/6Mnk/2Pal Halfling

    Starting Stats (34 points):
    Str - 12(!)
    Dex - 16
    Con - 14
    Wis - 15
    Int - 10
    Cha - 14

    Progression:
    1. Monk - 4 Concentrate, 2 Intimidate, 1 Tumble, 4 Jump, 3 Balance - Toughness, TWF
    2. Paladin - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate
    3. FvS - 1 Concentrate, .5 Intimidate - Favored by the Sovereign Host, PL Monk
    4. FvS - 1 Concentrate, .5 Intimidate
    5. FvS - 1 Concentrate, .5 Intimidate - Child of the Sovereign Host
    6. FvS - 1 Concnetrate, .5 Intimidate - Extend
    7. Paladin - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate - Eat +2 tomes in ALL stats.
    8. Monk - 1 Concentrate, 2 Intimidate - Weapon Finesse
    9. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate - ITWF, Energy Resistance: Fire
    10.FvS - 1 Concnetrate, 1 Intimidate
    11. Monk - 1 Concentrate, 2 Intimidate - Dark Path - Eat a +3 Int tome (and any others you feel appropriate) for CE
    12. Monk - 1 Concentrate, 2 Intimidate - IC Bludgeon
    13. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate
    14. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate
    15. Monk - 1 Concentrate, 2 Intimidate - GTWF
    16. Monk - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate, 2 Jump - Combat Expertise
    17. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate
    18. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate - Maximize, Energy Resistance of your choice (I suggest Cold)
    19. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate
    20. FvS - 1 Concentrate, 1 Intimidate - Beloved of the Sovereign Host

    Ending Stats:
    Str - 12 base + 2 tome + 6 item = 20
    Dex - 16 base + 2 tome +2 enhancements + 6 item + 4 level ups = 30
    Con - 14 base + 2 tome + 6 item = 22
    Wis - 15 base + 2 tome + 2 enhancements + 6 item + 1 level up = 26
    Int - 10 base + 3 tome = 13
    Cha - 14 base + 2 tome + 2 enhancements + 6 item = 24
This is assuming that you don't use any +3s or +4s, you don't have any exceptional bonuses, and you haven't found any +7 items. If any of these apply, feel free to move level up points around to get even numbers. Also, these numbers are UNBUFFED, so bear that in mind.

    HP - 164 base + 20 Heroic Durability + 120 Con + 60 enhancements + 30 GFL + 45 GS + 10 Argo Favor + 20 Minos = 491 Unbuffed HP.
Try to avoid rage when buffing though, it will drop your AC.

    AC - 10 base + 10 Dex + 8 Wis + 5 feats + 1 size + 2 monk + 5 protection + 7 Dodge (Icy, chattering) + 8 armor + 4 shield (clicky) + 2 luck (Rec) + 1 Paladin Aura + 1 Stance = 64 Self buffed
    + 3 Hero's Companion + 4 Paladin Aura + 4 Bard Song + 5 Barkskin + 1 Haste = 80 Raid buffed
    + 2 Blocking = 82 Turtle
    + 2 AC boost = 84 for 20 seconds out of every 30
+4 Tumble = 88 for whatever insane reason has you tanking and tumbling around
Note that Barkskin, Haste, and store/yugo potions are not included in the self buffed section.

Annoyingly, this toon cannot get the +4 insight bonus since he uses handwraps. However, I have come up with the ultimate turtle stance to combat this - namely, switching in 2 GS kamas geared specifically towards AC and defense (insert ninja turtle joke HERE). This is using a fire-air-air kama and an water-air-air kama. These will grant ODD bonuses to dex and wis, so be sure to grab a guild +1 for the extra AC listed here.
    Complete Turtle Mode of 91 = 80 raid buffed + 2 blocking + 2 AC boost + 4 insight boost + 2 exc Dex + 1 exc Wis

    Enhancements:
    Improved Intimidate 1
    Halfling Luck (Fortitude) 1
    Halfling Luck (Reflex) 1
    Halfling Dex 1-2
    Heroes Companion 1-4
    Racial Toughness 1-2
    Paladin AC boost 1
    Paladin Saves Boost 1
    Extra Smite 1
    Focus of Good 1
    Adept of Wind
    Adept of Rain
Way of the Tenacious Badger 1-2
    Improved Recovery 1
    Fists of Light
    FvS Toughness 1-4
    FvS Charisma 1-2
    FvS Wisdom 1-2
    Unyielding Sovereignty
    Energy of the Scion 1-3
    FvS Life Magic 1-3
    FvS Prayer of Life 1-2
FvS Prayer of Incredible Life 1
    Improved Concentration 1

Pros - Pretty good spot healer, GREAT AC and saves, should be pretty good at soloing. Much more variation with buffing others than the AdvoDia (halfling hero's companion, light finishers, etc.) and the water-light-water finisher means excellent SP conservation. Slightly more HP than AdvoDia.
Cons - Slightly squishier than most tanks, and not as much DPS as the AdvoDia Version.

Same deal as the drow version - I appreciate all constructive comments, and feel free to point out and mock any mistakes in my math.

I'm pretty sure shield of faith is a deflection bonus. If I mistyped it (forgot to check before hitting reply), then I'll edit it.

    Facepalm.

I'll edit that asap. Lowers AC a bit, but should still be viable for tanking.

Aaaaand double facepalm. Edited that too, looks like AdvoDia is the only viable endgame raid tank.

If you can fit it into the build, you can get your insight ac bonus back from the epic sirens set.(Or the neak+gem of many facets)

You can also gain 2 more from the mabar cloak, or, if u use the sirens set, from the chaosgrid bracers(the sirens belt would supply the 8 armor bonus instead of bracers)

Thing is, I like the extra couple bonuses from the jidz tetka (switching to fire between fights for healing amp is useful) and I was thinking the best solution would be to simply craft a pair of kamas with insight and dex to throw on during turtle mode. Not useful for general use, but still could be helpful for intimitanking some.

UPDATE: Added a set of Raid tanking kamas for entering Ultimate Turtle mode, brings AC up another 11 points from normal raid buffed (with guild ship buffs to make stats even).
Kama 1: Fire absorption 10%, exc dex +1, exc dex +2.
Kama 2: Cold absorption 10%, Elec absorption 15%, insight AC +4.
These make tanking much easier, both through AC boosts and damage mitigation from chain lightning/meteor swarm.

Edit: switched from air-water-air to water-air-air, to get better elec absorption and some ice absorption since epic jidz gives exc wis.

Yes, u dont 'HAVE' to use chaos. Was like i said, use mabar cloak(For the 2 dodge) and sirens set (Belt/neak or trinket/neak) for the insight 4. Then u have it all the time and don't have to drop down to subpar dmg just to get the ac you want.
