    Default Overall impression

    Wow, where to start...

    1) Nerfing monsters - are we really heading towards the casual players now?
    2) Boosts to attacks & weapons - somewhat OK. Maybe it will be awesome when the crafting feature is done, but at the moment I'm reserving my judgement
    3) The Blood Stone - *facepalm* Although its a good change, why wasn't it implemented earlier?
    4) Slayers killcount buff - somewhat OK i feel, for those who like to explore/kill stuff for whatever reasons.
    5) No more autocrits on helpless monsters - So what's the point of the crits system for? Where else is it going to work?
    6) Spell change - still figuring this out, will comment in the appropriate forum.

Overall - why can't minor fixes like the Blood Stone change be implemented consistently per update, rather than leaving the problem in the dust for...4 years or so?

    - I've been to so many raids, but I wouldn't call myself a vet, since I have yet to try out different strategies, tactics and classes in raids.
    - Main in sig, alts: Frostiee, Aliciae, Amandae

Its the one that gives Seeker +6 (IIRC). The name is similar to a gem called Bloodstone.

looks like they renamed it "The Bloodstone" and gave it new artwork as well.

Well, yeah you speak common concerns, but can't be too harsh knowing there clearly was monster inflation isn't it?
So nerfing the overinflated hp on epic monsters and blanket immunities is kind of fixes to the fixes.
But is absolutely a good thing to move away from that, better have improved mechanics than mere tweaks when it comes to fix things.

    1) Nerfing monsters - it removes the need of 'best' tactics so people can have a variety of builds.
    2) Boosts to attacks & weapons - also meant to allow people have varied builds and not just the few 'best' ones.
In general, it allows direct melee damage and direct spell damage on epic.
    3) The Blood Stone - this is priceless like the blood stone itself, sorry, The Blood Stone.
    4) Slayers killcount buff - this is nice, make the areas better overall, not just easier xp.
    5) No more autocrits on helpless monsters - So what's the point of the crits system for?
Really? crits are extra damage, never intended to be the one and only way to kill things.
Of course being helpless is a very valid way to kill things, just need not be the single way.
You should be able to best monsters in hand to hand combat and nuke them to death without having to hold them.
    6) Spell change - meant to make direct spell damage, debuffs, minor enchantments and instakill in epics useful again.
The party isn't forced to the 'best' tactics of persistent area, instakill spam and mass holds.
You can still do so of course, at a slower pace and some sp cost.

Grimlock like this change. Grimlock add 'The' to name now. THE Grimlock like ribs so much, THE Grimlock eat whole McDonalds. Very filling, whole McDonalds. You should try.
