Default remove the confirm dialog box to enter airships

this is a really trivial thing but the confirmation dialog box to enter airships is unnecessary and needs to go away

on the off chance you accidentally enter an airship you can always leave again, or just jump off if you are roleplaying chaotic

there is no reason for the confirmation dialog box

I've actually always wondered about that myself. Doesn't seem to add any value for it to be there - we don't get warnings before we switch houses at house gates

I agree that it is superfluous.

Imagine if we had to do this every time we went into a tavern.

but the only way onto another ship is by invite only. there for being asked if you want to go to your own ship has no relevence.

This is one of those things I've never even thought about. I just clicked on it and off to my airship I go! It's a good point, and I agree with the OP.

Imagine if it were like that every time you went home:

    *turns key*
    *door doesn't open*
Disembodied voice: "Are you suuuure you want to go into your own house?"
    Me: "uh...yeah, pretty sure"
    DV: "Absolutely?"
    Me: "Positively."
    DV: "Really?"
    Me: "Yes really."
DV: "Well, you have to answer this riddle first..."
Me: *sigh* "My ice cream is melting. Screw this."

as I said its a buffer/place holder so that you can go to another Airship.

It is a very slight inconvience I agree I was just giving a possible reason for its existance.

As for the confirmation box, I'm neutral.
I always thought it was there to give the game some time to load up your airship, since they are not permanent instances like Houses or Taverns. But, if there is a way to remove the confirmation box w/o somehow goofing up or extending load times to the airships - /signed.

    Fine.... get rid of it.

How do you go to another guild's guildship then?

EDIT: I'm not in disagrement with the change, but how do you replace it

    replace with this

if you have an invite to go onto another guild's ship the dialog box comes up with choice...your ship, other ship

if you dont have an invite no dialog box comes up

going to another person's airship doesn't involve clicking on the door... when you get an invite from another player, the box just pops up.

There is no need for the confirmation box when clicking on the door.

and as stated before, you cannot go to another airship, unless they invite you. When they invite you you do not even have to click on the door, it is a pop up message like sharing a quest. asking if you want on your ship serves absolutely zero purpose what so ever.

the absolute only way to get on to any ship other than your own guild ship is by someone IN party to right click your name and select invite. the invitee gets it as a pop up message similiar to the share quest dialog. the person getting the invite MUST be near an airship portal otherwise you do not get the invite at all. there is no other way to get there.

I agree with previous poster, just get rid of the door, break a window and jump in. Would be fun to watch gimped jumpers try to enter their ships. Maybe a str check also?
