I remember someone saying something like this in a pug shroud I did a few days ago, don't remember who or what guild. I find it silly that someone would get blacklisted over having to leave for an emergency, let alone leaving during a shroud. Some times things happen, and shroud is shroud. Doesn't matter if someone afks the entire raid or go walks their dog, it's not that serious.

For those of you wanting to know the name of the guild I suggest going back and reading the posts really close. I caught it midway through the thread. I have had good and bad experiences with the group. No one should ever take a game so serious that they cannot respect others real life emergencies or events. I remember a friend getting kicked from a guild in another game because he missed a mandatory guild event. It really didn't matter to them that he had to work a 24 hour shift to help feed his family, pay his bills and keep his game subscription up. Some people take things way too seriously.

I've never had any problems with anyone from this guild. The runs where usually clean and smooth.

If it's an emergency, fine, drop everything and go. If you can wait long enough to loot in part 4, you can stay to help everyone complete the fifth part too.

There's always 2 sides of every story. That's why it is very hard to judge people from what they said happened in the past. Unless they were there, how could anyone else pass judgement? All in all, this is just another complaint thread about someone else that is kept "anonymous" to the public, but easily told to whoever asks.

There is only one real reason that would make me blacklist someone. They have to be a complete jerk that is solely out to ruin my fun in this game, a total griefer or just awful harassment. A zerger, a noob, someone leaving a raid, or anyone just making the wrong decision on how to go about finishing a quest will never make me want to blacklist.

Hope all is well, and that you have recovered.. Neither of you nor your guild leader need to spend the energy/time to run with or even understand that guilds POV.

I have 2 reasons..
1) RL comes first always ...
2) to paraphrase Allen Iverson many years ago....it was a shroud.. Really a shroud?? Im talking a shroud!! Not even Talking about Abbot.. I if they get ****y cause they can't short man a shroud ... well 'nuff said..
