Request for when Lamannia is showcasing Update 9

I request that all characters in Lamannia be given a free feat exchange token. I'm sure you can see where this is headed. Unlike the main server, Lamannia is meant to be a test bed. With the new PrEs requiring feats that characters most likely don't have, its rather difficult for those who do not have the means to exchange a feat to be able to test out the new PrEs. To emphasize, I'm not asking for the main servers to be given this, just Lamannia, so that the new PrEs can be tested.

If you think about it, the u9 update to Lam will probably be the 28th. End of CC and before the end of March. Gives the longest time before the end of april and it provides the most people due to no events taking players away.

I did see a post from Thoon that all chars will be deleted when Lam comes back, so that we can copy over new (or updated) chars for testing.

I think I ran into a timer on Lama before while swapping two feats when trying out Archmage, but can't remember for certain. If the timers and cost are just like the live servers, is there any chance that you could just remove both the timers and cost for both Fred and the trainers on Lama in perpetuity?

In general, there is almost always something for one class or another that needs a feat swap to play with new toys. In addition, for something like the Sorc PrE, a 3 day timer for enhancements means that it will take a week and a half to cycle through all four new Savants. Same with spell swaps - it could get rather expensive for those who are not transferring a plat-capped character over.

Yeah, bards take spells as they level, just like Sorcs, and they can switch those Spells at a trainer, which has, iirc, a timer. So if Bards want to switch more than one spell, a Respec or LR is very reasonable.

Yes, the server will be wiped, and the character copy counts reset.

Spell revamp. Some 'general' spells available to bards were changed, and they may want to change them out.

Regarding making the respec timer for enhancements/feats shorter, that is not something that we can adjust on the fly at this time. Doing an LR for large changes is probably the best bet, and since Lamannia-only Turbine Points are free, it should not be too big an issue for most.

Since, though, you can only get free turbinie points from that NPC guy once, I recommend cheapening hearts in the Lamannia DDO store. Or am I mistaken that you can only get points once?

On Lamannia you can get 1000 turbine points daily.
