More seriously, you got lucky with thornlord, good to you. Some people may not have been and want one of the best bow in game easy and fast. I gave up myself several reds or larges for an easy and fast trade, without much asking me if it was the perfect right price. Sometimes you just pay something because you want it now and it's there before your eyes. It's what this nth shop about desert scroll is maint for.

ummmm seeing as a lit II out DPS's a Epic Thornlord how is it the best bow in the game? I am not saying it is ****, it is a good bow... but the best in game i think not.... Especially with the Elemental Savant PrE's coming out and teh fact that lightening vulnerability will be able to be passed out to mobs....

Even with all modifiers working on the lit II epic thornlord will still outdps it at high enough bonus damage stats. Good builds want the thornlord weak builds use the lit II.

eThornlord outclasses Lit 2s, just like eSOS outclasses Lit 2s.

In the rare case that:

1) You have an Air Savant in group
2) You are fighting a boss that is not immune to curses
3) The boss in question is not immune to lightning
4) The boss in question lasts long enough to stack to 2+ stacks of the lightning attraction curse
5) The boss has a low enough AC that using a +5 bow instead of a +8 isn't an issue

then yes, Lit 2 is superior to eThornlord.

I'm trying to think of a boss that fits 2, 3 and 4 and can't - can anyone help me think of one?



All that said, Thornlord scroll suffers from the same low prices as the Bloodstone scroll and for the same reason - there's dozens of the scroll on every server, yet just a few of the shard are ever seen. I think there's 3 eThornlords on Khyber server.
