Default Ls2 khopesh vs. Crystal Cove Scimitar vs. Mineral 2 Khopesh

With the changes to epic how do these three weapons compare to one another on epic? Inquiring minds want to know? A side question is how does the small blade from the Cove fit into the scheme of things. As an off hand weapon is the small blade competitive with some of these other weapons as off hand weapons as well?

    Very roughly -

    LitII is 2% proc for ~ 600 = 12pts per swing.

Vorpal is 5% proc for 100 = 5pts per swing, but vorpal if mob <1,000hp.

My gut feeling is LitII>Cutlass but I'm open to other opinion...

It think it also depends who is wielding it and against what. On a capstone paladin with silver bypass in the Red Slot....those cove Scimitars will tear up Devils.

T3 Epic Brigand's Cutlass vs LitII Scimi (Holy/Shock/Shock):

    +1 Enhancement bonus
    +1d6 base damage
    = 7.2 factoring crits (5.85 vs. 50% fort)
    2d6 Anarchic - 2d6 Holy = 0
    2d6 True Chaos - 1d6 Shock = 1d6 net
    3d6 Burst - 1d10 Burst x 2 = 3.15 - 3.3 = -.15
    100 on Vorp - 4d6 on Vorp = 5 - .7 = 4.3
    -12 Lightnint strike
= 2.85 more damage from the Cutlass (1.5 vs. 50%)

So basically, Cutlass is slightly better than LitII Scimi, assuming both get full damage. This will also be true if they're both failing to bypass the same DR (vs. Pit Fiends).

Comparison with Khopesh is a bit tricky, since it depends on the actually damage bonus the user is getting, but it should only take about 30 base damage for the LitII Khopesh to exceed the Cutlass.

Epic Chaosblade now actually always exceeds LitII Khopesh, provided the same assumptions as above apply.

MinII compares to the Cutlass in essentially the same way it compares to LitII: Cutlass wins on Normal, is close enough to use over MetPG on Hard, and way behind on Elite.
