400 khyber dragonshard framents for binding no level items

any thoughts on why it still costs 400 fragments to bind a no level item? an unfixed bug or another reason?

Because generally speaking binding ML0 items is a mistake so almost no one does it and thus it isn't worth time to fix.

Ring of Feathers and Necklace of Contemplation. Those two I can see binding if you're a TR addict, as they tend to be really squishy.

I throw away khyber shards by the thousands to keep them from cluttering my inventory. I'm not sure I understand what the problem is.

yeah necklace of contemplation I could see but ring of feathers? I have a few pairs of no ML BTA featherfall boots that work just as well.
where as falselife(10HP), +5 concentration and +1 to hit on a single item crazy good for a no ML.

to the OP,
I think it is a problem with the way they set it up. since binding amount is based on ML squared you can't have a true ML0 item since it would 't take any shards to bind so they made them count as ML 20 items hence 400 shards. Why they chose 20 I don't know but I don't expect it to be "fixed" cause I don't think it is seen as broken.
