    Default Quick Draw Worth it?

I just see it in a lot of builds, so basically my question is, is quickdraw worth dropping a second toughness on an AA kensai II khopesh build (12 ftr/6 rgr/2rog)
adversity is something we face every day - for a true test, give someone power

People take Quick Draw for faster Action Boost activation. It really does allow for smoother use of Power Surge and Haste Boost in combat.

If having that ability is worth the HP trade off then you should switch.

If you swap weapons frequently or use action boosts (ftr str, haste, etc) mid-combat frequently like I do, then quickdraw is awesome.

It not only noticeably decreases the time it takes to swap weapons, but it speeds up how fast your action boosts take effect after you click them.

I don't know if it is a 'must have' feat, but I know I certainly miss it when I switch from my fighter who has it to my ranger who doesn't.

22 HP at cap will not be the difference maker in any build.

Now if it were your only toughness feat and you were also losing HP from toughness enhancements, it would be a different recommendation.

The DPS reason given for having it is shaving off 0.6 seconds of the normal 1.2 seconds it takes to activate a boost, giving you 0.6 seconds more worth of those boosts.

The fun/functionality reason behind it is for swapping weapons quickly. Best use I've seen in epics is to swap to a stunning weapon setup while approaching a caster or un-stunned/held mob, hitting it with stunning blow, and switching back to your DPS weapons quickly. Was very nice to see it for the first time, quiet an eye opener to what else it brings, since saving 0.6 seconds on boosts doesn't sound like its worth a feat, though its certainly something to keep in mind if you've the room in your build.

Personally for those benefits, I'd prolly drop an extra Toughness for it if I was already at a good 600+ HP.

Not exactly. The benefit of shortened boost activation isn't that it's equivalent to longer boost duration; it is that the cost in skipped regular attacks is reduced.

Right. What I meant by that though is rather than activating the boost and start swinging again at 18.8 sec left on the boost, you'd restart your attacks at 19.4, thus gaining some more use out of it, while losing less attacks as well. Poor choice of words on my part.

It also increases thrown attack rate.
I believe it does this by making the reloading animation faster.

No. The description indicates only thrown weapons.
