MyDDO "You've got in-game mail!" Info

I'm not sure how complicated this would be, but it would be very nice if we could access MyDDO to find out which of our characters has in-game mail. That way I wouldn't have to relog quite a few times to check mail (I actually don't even do that anymore, sometimes mail just sits in my mailbox for quite a while on some characters). And I say MyDDO because it makes more sense to me, but anywhere you eventually put it wouldn't make a difference to me.

LOL, like this will happen.
It is a nice idea but they can't even keep my characters updated correctly.

I still have several characters listed that no longer exist, another that does not list his current incarnation(his deleted predecessor is there instead) and incorrect equipment on a number of my current toons.

Since these items are not correct it seems to me that I would go nuts getting mail from last year finally arriving as new mail.

Well, maybe as a toggled feature...?

Not sure game can warn us of outstanding mail without logging in to the individual chars.
It would have to poll them, before; can't say if it would make char log-in any longer.
Would be a fine feature, though.
