Set item stacking

Checked forums,
50% of people claim caster set items (tod, fens) stack with lore/potency items,
50% claim just the opposite.

Can a developer tell us which one is true?

For example:
major fire lore +9% chance +0.50x multiplier
Archmage(rahkir's set) +5% chance +0.50x multiplier
Greater Elder's Knowledge +6% chance +0.50x multiplier

How exactly do they stack?

I had this same question

easiest answer is to do the math yourself
figure out what a scorching ray does normally
then add what shamans set and or the crit sets in
if you dont see those numbers then it doesnt

short answer I tested with elders

elders doesnt stack with lore in any form

I do not know first hand archmage set and lore

or elders + archmage

Highest modifier wins currently.

Major Fire Lore + Archmage Set = 9% chance +0.5x multiplier to fire and 5% chance +0.5x multiplier to everything else.
Greater Arcane Lore + Archmage Set = 9% chance +0.5x multiplier to everything.

Have you tried the basic set or epic set?

Basic set doesn't stack i think, but epic one might be...

Since developers aren't responding, i guess the best way to find the answer is to craft and try.
