I am glad that most people here think that I would be fine. I'd like to note that I am missing the 10 hp from gh favor which I wil have before I start shroud. I also plan to get a pair madstones. About the ac,well there is nothing to be done about it at the moment. Just have to hope that displacement and being careful carries me through.

If you're not tanking or drawing aggro, and know how to position yourself, you're perfectly fine with 300+ (or 250+ with evasion).
The reason rogues can easily do Shrouds with 300-350hps is because they have improved evasion. Most of the aoe damage has a reflex save. My rogue is at 364hps and normally has the highest health bar, while the 600+hp barbs are almost dead.

For part 5, he has random agro. Occasionally you'll have him beating on you, so you can't have good positioning. As I said before, I recently rolled up a melee bard and came quite close to dying often before I broke 400hps and started using Fire Shield scrolls.

I remember being under 400 hit points also, I recommend fireshield scrolls as others have, this will put you about even with 500-550 hitpoint characters alone unless my math is off. I still use fireshield as much as possible when needed including normal harry... never know when a lag spike hits and when they do I'm usually alive longer then some barbarians and fighters.
