Default A question about sumggler's rest and the cc

I saw that the pirate hat you get is upgradable with bonuses to abilities, skills, hp, sp...
so technicly, this hat can become the unlimate equipment that got +6 to all abilities, +15 to all skills, +40hp, +200 sp...
Am I right? Is it so overpowered? Or there's something that I miss?

Only 1 stat/other general buff, only 1 skill, and only 1 kobold buff per hat. If you try to add a second it overrides the 1st.

There is a single slot to upgrade a stat, and a single slot to upgrade a skill, so...yes it's a great hat, but not hugely overpowered. One stat and one skill can be upgraded - total.

I think you only get one ability and one skill - it's handy for being able to slot stuff that's hard to fit otherwise, but you can't give it everything at once.

Won't repeat what the others have said, but you can also purchase additional hats, so you could have 4 or 5 hats each with a different maxed out attribute for different situations.

    So if I get a hat, I can boost 1 skill, 1 ability, 200sp and 40hp?
    still sounds quite powerful...

And how do I upgrade my hat?

No, 200SP and +15 concentration (or some other skill).

Well you can boost one skill, one ability, or give yourself 200sp or give your self 40 hp. The skills are in a seperate tier from the abilities, spell points, fortification or HP. you have to choose which of those options you want. One per hat.

you must choose, but choose wisely.

Are the sp stacking with everything? What is the most worthy for a pure offensive caster drow cleric (or drow rogue ranger)?

The hat has 3 "slots" to put your desireble effect.

    - One for general effects: you can put +hp, +sp or + ability but only one of that.
E.g.: you have Lesser False life and you put Wizardry, the Wizardry effect will overcome the previous effect.

    - One for Skill: you can raise them until +15.
The same is applied for the skills you can only have one skill in your hat.

    - One for Kobolds: that slot can give bonus to the Kobolds when you are in Crystal Cove.
    E.g.: Haste, Fortification etc.

To upgrade your hat you need Doublons and Dragonshards.
Put your hat in the hat box and it will show the effects that you can apply. If you want superior false life you need to start with lesser upgrade to improved upgrade to greater and then to superior.

As you put more powerful bonus the minimul level to wear the hat increases.

    This.

Head slot is typically for that helm thing from the tapestry turn in -- you know the one I mean. Maybe some other helm of epic proportions with newer gear. And, for some, set items out of Chronoscope or similar quests.

But, for a lot of people it is an available spot for something nifty if they can get it.

For the traits of pirate's grog, are goblinoids count as humanoids? (like in gladewatch outpost quest)

this is the best approach. I created an extra hat of haggling for almost every one of my characters. at max level, that gives them a +6 CHR, + 15 haggle item that I swap out when talking to vendors. adds up to a lot of extra coin when selling things.
