Is it possible a monk to beat a barbarian on pvp?

Just a tidbit of information (that may be wrong now), but a few updates ago when I was in CtF PvP, a few bards were fascinating my monk. That's fine, found that I can Kukan-Do them mid song to break their animation and avoid the fascination.

As for Monk's vs Barbarians

If no abilities are used and you want to PvP. It's been said already, just go and roll two identical charcters, give both basic korthos gear and then see who wins out. That is 100% FAIR PvP.

Otherwise, everything and anything goes in PvP.

Although consistently using stuns, holds and songs are frowned on and can get you into trouble.

FWIW, even a pure Paladin can beat a [pure] Monk.

Thing is in PvP if its something that gives you an edge then others will cry about it. Stuns, holds, dances etc.

IMO if you want to step into a brawling pit you accept the challenge in full. Imagine getting into a street fight but telling your aggressor no punches to the face

I think this pretty much sums it up, and made me laugh hard.

A lot of us learned in PvP games and some through other MMO's...when you step into a fight expect nothing. It's a street fight inside a game...if they cry give them a tissue as you stand over their corpse.
