black screen of doom

i know the title f this thread is kinda funny but i am not. one day i start up ddo it goes to open form and does not respond i re installed ddo and tried again nothing worked. i go the smart idea to run as admin that got me farther to the login screen and the server screen but as soon as i click on the server it starts up. but it never gets past the black screen before any of the progress bar screen or the character selection screen. if anyone knows how to fix it please post. if not and you think you might have an a question about my system i will answer any post
