    +3 exceptional con
+1 litany or human con enhancement

reroll a warforged and find out what the game is really all about. but that is a story for another day.....
Isn't this thread about shroud? What kind of HP can a first life 28 pt squishy have realistically for their first shroud?

At level 18 - Rogue, 12 con (Elf), +2 con tome, toughness (feat), toughness 1+2 (enhancement), toughness (Minos), +6 con (item), Greaterfalse life (item) = 318

What level do most ppl run their first shroud?

It only starts to look repectable if I had started with max con 16 => 354, but that only leaves you 12 build points for your other attributes ... and rogues will need some int, str and dex (unless you go THF?).

I've avoided running shroud largely because of this standard and the attitude a number of people take when your squishiness is exposed.

Luckily for me the event has allowed me to creep within 20K of cap, so I'll likely be 20 before I do my first shroud. I also picked up a Stalwart Trinket, so I should be at 358 by the time I hit Shroud.

But I imagine many squishies go in with much lower hp.

If you read my posts ... I started Shrouding with very low hp (low 300's)... which was very unsafe ... got to mid 300's .... just ok and now can hit 407 which is fine.

If you can get to mid 300's then you should be fine for Shroud. Try keeping yourself stoneskinned during the Harry fights and you should be ok. Make a hp greensteel item and the extra 45hp's will take you over 400 and your good to go from there.

And yes the squishies do go in there and get one shotted by Harry regularly.

    Here here.

I started with 14 con my self but I have almost 430 HP as a sustained number. Without even equipping the Minos Legens.

    Constitution: 22 (+6) = 14 (base) + 2 (tome) + 6 (enchantment)
    Hit Points: 429 = 160 (monk) + 120 (con) + 20 (DDO) + 10 (favor) + 69 (toughness x3) + 20 (ap) + 25 (GS) + 5 (lesser false life)

Finishing my HP based Concordant Opposition Goggles would mean another +20 HP. I have room for False Life to grow (up to +40!) and can graft the +20 item based toughness HP using epic tokens. That's another +75 HP alone which breaks 500 easy enough. Nonsustained we can talk about +2 guild & +2 moral to con for even more HPs (40).

Really it comes down to what kind of healers you are running with, and how much effort and pots they are willing to put out. Me personally, on a PUG shroud, if someone goes down way to easily fighting Harry, I will raise them once (part 5), and fr them, if they go down again, they can wait till the party's over, heh. If you can't stay up with the mass heals that are keeping the rest of the party up, you fail.

Guild runs are different of course, I KNOW our rogues do great DPS and am usually willing to keep them up to make the fight go quicker.

Problem is EVERYONE thinks they do good DPS, and it is not always the case...

    Peace B)
If you have to POT as a healer to get through shroud, there is some serious fail going on in multiple areas. Lag spikes and extremely low hp (or rangers/casters standing in blades like morons) are the only things that should cause deaths.
