What is a Guild Rename?

A Guild Rename is a Paid Service that enables a guild leader of a guild to request a name change for their guild.

How much is a Guild Rename?

A Guild Rename costs 12.95 USD.

What should I expect from the Guild Rename Process?

Current turnaround for all Paid Services is 1-2 weeks.

The system currently provides a confirmation email once the request has been submitted.

You'll receive an email confirmation once it's been processed. That's also when you will be charged.

What is the Guild Rename Policy?

Guild Rename Policy

This service will allow you to request a Guild Rename for DUNGEONS&DRAGONS Online™: Stormreach™. Please note that the Guild Rename services are subject to Turbine's Terms of Service.

Guilds can be renamed if:

* The Guild Leader is making the request.
* The Guild Leader's subscription is in active status.
* A review of the account does not reveal any (current and/or previous) Terms of Service or Code of Conduct violations.
* The guild name selected as the desired name does not violate the Code of Conduct and is not currently being used.

In addition to Turbine's standard Terms of Service, the following terms and conditions will apply to all fee-based game services described on this website (the"Fee-Based Game Services"). In the event of a conflict between Turbine's standard Terms of Service and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will apply. Turbine reserves the right to modify and update these terms and conditions at any time with or without notification.

Guild Rename Disclaimers

* Guild renames are not reversible. Turbine is under no obligation to reverse a guild rename purchase under any circumstance.
* Guild renames are non-refundable. Once your guild rename has been completed, the associated fee(s) will not be refunded.
* In the event the payment for a guild rename is disputed or withdrawn, Turbine reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the Turbine subscription(s) associated with that transaction.
* Turbine will honor your first six choices for a new guild name during the guild rename process. If none of the first six choices for a guild name are available, Turbine reserves the right to close your guild rename request. You will not be charged for an unsuccessful guild rename request.
* Turbine reserves the right to deny a request to rename a guild for any reason.

Payment Policy for All Fee-Based Game Services

* Turbine is NOT responsible for any overdraft fees resulting from customers using cards with insufficient balances to cover the above costs. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure funds are prepared to cover all applicable fees.
* All Fee-Based Game Services are subject to a"No Refunds"policy.

What if another guild already has the guild name I want?

You are required to submit both your first and second choices for a new guild name. If both of these names are taken, you will be contacted via email to submit additional possible names for your guild.

Can I use the name ___________?

All Guild Renames must follow the same DDO Character Naming Policy.

If I change my name, can I be banned for it if it violates the ToS (Terms of Service)?

Yes. All guilds renamed using the Guild Rename Service are still held by the bounds of the naming policy and ToS. Any violation will be handled in the same manner as an infraction by a guild that was not renamed.

Who can change my guild’s name?

Only the current leader of the guild has the ability to change the guild's name via a request.

I accidentally gave my guild leadership to someone else and they changed the name of the guild. If I get guild leadership back, can I change the name of the guild back to what it was?

Providing you get guild leadership back, you can submit a second Guild Rename request to change the name of your guild again. However, you will be responsible for the same fee just as this was the first request. We cannot force a guild remember to grant guild leadership to another guild member

What are the restrictions on guild names?

I want to purchase a Premium Service, but I don’t have a credit card. What can I do?

A valid credit card is required in order to purchase a Premium Service.

If you do not have a valid credit card, Prepaid credit cards, (such as a Vanilla Visa) can be used to purchase a Premium Service.
