The Gary Gygax statue

i know im a little late in posting this.but for all who know or dont know Gary's memorial statue has a website http://www.gygaxmemorialfund.com/ . if you love dnd and have feelings for its creator please send a dollar or 2 and lets get it done. i met gary in person at the dungeon in lake geneva and he really was a cool guy. he was totally approachable and took time to talk to me about dnd and his new project at the time. he told me how he and his family were playing balders gate at the time and i thought that was really cool. i too was playing balders gate so it was really nice to ask him what he thought about it.

Any proof this is legit? Id hate to see people's money go down the drain. If this is legit, it is very, very cool.

OP are you associated with it?

I would be much more inclined to donate if there was
1.) More thought put into it, then a hand drawn picture. It does not show a huge amount of commitment by the website.
2.) Actual cost of the project.
3.) Evidence that its legit. (ie, if a non profit, show the IRS forms, articles of incorporation, something)
4.) An area to pledge. I would be happy to pledge say $50, but I'm not going to send $50 to some dude, who might get half the amount, and then not be able to do anything with it and keep it.

Over all great idea, and I would love to see it happen.

Also it lists Gail Gygax as on the board, but I think she kept her name as Gail Carpenter. Not evidence, but just seems fishy.
