The beginning of the fight with Malicia--what with the "...It was about taking control" line right as she charms the entire Phiarlan bunch--is great. It's just all around a neat battle so I'm going with Malicia.

Two monsters, both alike in awesomeness, in the amazing carnival quest in Phiarlan they lay thier scene... Very tough; I am very divided... Crateos is definately the best mini boss in the whole game (don't even need to seem em all...). But Malacia is the boss of this boss and one of the few villains with a lot of... flair... Hm... What's the difference between "great" and "better?" I guess I must go with truly the "trickiest" of the two... the least predictable... the one that took me by complete surprise the moment I first saw it.
