Harry has a hilarious cockney voice over, and I feel sorry that he has been turned into a midget. Sor'jek keeps trying, bless him. He's like the ghost pirate le chuck. Kill him as a giant, he comes back as a lich... Kill him as a lich, maybe he'll come back as a demon zombie giant! I'm torn. Going to impulse vote on this one.

Shroud is the one you are more likely to fail to achieve completion.

SOS is the one you are more likely not to kill the end boss of.

One good melee and one good healer type can carry a Shroud; those same two can't carry a group through Sor'jek once four mephits spawn.

One good caster and one good melee can easily kill Sorjek, and did, two days ago. Amusingly this used a lot less resources then when you go in with a /failparty, only a few scrolls and such, in spite the melee not having any evasion for the fire part (barb).

It takes 12 ppl raid to kill Harry and 6 ppl party to kill Sorjek
Unless Sorjek gets a little help from the dragons:

I like the idea of Sorjek fight being played by less players generaly then Harry coz more ppl have Vale adv. pack so he gets some points for being more spooky and mysterious

Sorjek looks pretty badass in the DDO intro video.

Arraetrikos deserves his own CG movie too tho since he's more badass.

Pretty sure arraetrikos killed millions more players then sorjek could ever hope too as well. Tho sorjek did it first and showed the way in tempest spine.

In a 1 on 1 fight. vs lich sorjek:
Arraetrikos would crush lich sorjek, since he's weak to fire and has a poor reflex and thats attartrikos specialty. Where as Sorjeks main attacks are disintegrate/horrid wilting/symbol of pain.. All necromacny/fort save stuff, arraetrikos has a very strong fort save.

Vs Storm Giant Sorjek:
Now if they both had epic versions:
This would be a much more balanced fight. Sorjek giant form has access to a ton of elemental resists/immunities, which would render arraetrikos fire spells pretty weak. Plus he is fully spec'd in lightning as a storm giant, and thats arraetrikos weakness. His only flaw is how slow he swings his sword vs arreatrikos fast unarmed strikes.

So in death, sorjek loses.. In life, he would definetely stand a chance.

My vote will have to go to Arraetrkos. He was my greatest foe after all. I was first to destroy him gamewide on elite, one of the greatest challenges I've faced in this game.

Altho shroud is the most popular raid by far.. Remember Sorjek is the raidboss of tempest spine - DDOs original raid. (and currently a free to play adventure)

Since TS was around for around 6 years now.. While shroud was only up for less then half that time.. It's quite probable that more people have faced off against Sorjek then Arraetrikos.

Giants were never known to be that intelligent, on top of that he's undead - which is also not known for intelligence.

I would much rather they stick to lore. Undead giant is cooler than lame demon too.

Like Shade said - undead vs fire = bad.

Plus Attaerikos also can summon healing gnolls - as well as devils.

Sorjek has mephits - which suggests he should have those elemental attacks as well and mass lightning could help out more - but he doesnt use it in Sos.

And again - Harry can teleport at will, and fly - making an arial bombardment of meteor swarm and dbf a better option (not in DDO game mechanics though) over Sorjek's ranged abilities - unless he got wind/storm control and could knock Harry down with it...

Sorjek is balanced to a non-raid with less people - so if he was beefed up to an essentially twice as powerful version to deal with a 12 person raid over a 6 person (or less) quest - he might do a lot better (healing necromancers say)

As they are in DDO currently - probably Arraetrikos.
