    Default Wedding Pics

    For all who came, those who helped, and even those who griefed (looking at you sneaking dwarfs), thank you so much. On the Friday the 11th March 10pm Eastern Standard Time on Sarlona, Soloartiste and Lainith married. Cesarai was the minister, and Desicius, an old and close friend, gave the bride away.

    The wedding was not an example of role-playing, but a marriage of the heart and an expression of commitment, between two real life players from New Zealand (Lainith) and MI, USA (Soloartiste). By the events today we signified in front of witnesses the level of our commitment for one another, and this ceremony will be repeated in real life (minus the griefers) when we meet later this year.

    Thank you to all who came. The wedding symbolized so much for us and it was great to see so many people come to wish us well.

    Congratulations to you both!

    The ceremony looks like it was very nice, and I'm glad you took the "quirks" of MMO life in stride.

    I hope you two will have many years and many levels together.

    Yay! I'm in some of the Pics.

    Fun time... The Wedding Crashers were very humorous, but it wouldn't have been a ddo wedding without some random act of strangeness going on. Glad to see it didn't stop anything though. I wish you two the best of luck in the future.

    I posted a thread on here back when I proposed to him with a lot of our history on it. But no, we haven't met physically, and will marry in real life soon after we do.

    Now that I think of it, you might could have made sure that all of the female characters that would have wanted to "catch" the bouquet already had the BtC bouquet (DDO Store?) in inventory. Then, make them /roll d100 for it. Allow the participants to play along, and whomever wins the roll equips theirs the moment you "swing" yours and stash it away.

    Flower bouquets are available in the DDO Store, but they may only be there around Feb 14th.
