Before when you were looking for any build advice, you would be into the class forums to look around. I would organize the thread by number of posts, and sift through the most popular topics. Then If I had more specific questions I would search that thread for the relevant information. I NEVER had a problem finding what I was looking for and all the information was specific to what I was looking for.
Now, Its hard to find anything. Sifting through class information you have no interest in is just stupid. I don't care what clerics and FS are talking about I'm looking for wizard posts (just an example). It makes coming here for new players just a real mess. If I were new, and was trying to build a character this change would really negativity impact my experience. Making things harder to find is a bad idea.
If there was a valid reason to make the change, please DEVS, let us know. Don't say "house keeping" because everything was labeled and in its own place before. All nice a neat. Now its all clustered together. You mentioned traffic, as your main reason. Whats wrong with a low traffic sub forum? If you give us a real answer for the reason it would stop all these posts in their tracks. Instead you just say, let the dust settle and give it a try, nothing is permanent.
So my suggestion is for you Turbine to give the real reason for the changes and we can all move on.
If this change saves you money, then say so, you having more loot is good for us all. Just some answer would be nice.
And yes, I've read through most of the threads about it, and the reasons I see are
Traffic
User feedback
Housekeeping
More exposure to threads
None of which I see are WAI.
