Price check: Marlith Chain Scroll (WTB!)

Just wondering how much the scroll of Marlith Chain is going to cost me with the server economy as crazy as it atm.

Almost sure I do not have enough for it, but am curious none the less.

If it helps, the last 5 to be traded on Khyber (that I've heard of) have gone for 17, 20, 24, 30 and 30 flawless red dragonscales (not in that order).

And yea with the plat economy as it is now..

30 reds worth of plat.. That would work out to aorund somewhere near the maximum plat cap for a standard VIP account lol..

Or maybe even one with expanded character slots.

Ye, I was expecting about 20 reds and 20 large scales. Pity as I got the shard last night (second highest roll but the highest was a Cleric so I won it as he was disqualified! lol) and am sure I have the seal somewhere too.

Oh well, time to start running eVON6 and hope for the best.

1. He admited it was for a future TR.

2. General rules for most people I end up in a group with are that if you want it for an alt then you do NOT roll on anything for that character. He also rolled on another shard that dropped, cant remember what it was now, but was healer based.



At the end of the day, it was not my loot to give away, so it was not my rules. Fortunatly for me the guy who it did drop for prefered to give it to someone in the group who could actually use it.

You do not need a seal for Epic Red armor, simply the shard and reds.

No language barrier. I am actually from Louisiana, in the US Army, currently serving with NATO in Portugal. As far as the seal/shard bit I misread since there was so much talk on red scales I was thinking when you said "shard" you meant Red Dragon Shard and it was a pity you would have to blow all your red scales on a scroll since you could craft the red armor because you won a roll on the shard last night. See where I am going ha-ha! Anyhow I don't want to hijack your post! Good luck on the MC scroll though man, the last two on Cannith have gone for a GRIP!

And anyway the limiting factor is people selling not what you are offering. Even at this moment there are about 50 trade post which all list the scroll as wanted and I dare to presume that none of them have been offered the scroll.

I got mine for an envenomed cloak scroll + 5 reds.

The "larges" part ended up a 20 or 30 each, and a few other things were added as well to the final bid (raid scrolls i think).

I know because I'm nosy and asked the seller when he didn't post it :3

About 4 epic Chaosblade scrolls would be a fair trade for one Marilith Chain scroll.

Marilith Chain is best-in-slot armor for probably 50% of all melee toons. eChaosblade is a niche item that is only uber on capstone paladins with 30 UMD, and even then it's garbage against chaotic foes.
