    Default Game Remembers Key Mapping

I think it would be beneficial to have the game remember a character's specific key mapping preferences. I grow more and more irritated each and every time I have to re-change my key mapping preferences every time I log on. Please make it easier for those who like our own key mapping preferences.

    Ummm, it does for me.

Or do you mean different mapping for each character?
A friend will bail you out of jail.
A mate will be sitting in there beside you saying "**** that was awsome!!!"

Make your key mapping changes then exit the game. Find the ddo.keymap file. Should be in the "User/Documents/Dungeons and Dragons Online" folder. Once located, opent file properties and set to "Read Only". That SHOULD stop the client from over-writing your key-maps with the defaults.

Second option is to go into that same file and edit it yourself. Again, set it to "Read Only" after making changes.

Besides making the file read only, there's the bug where the default mappings incorrectly return when you start the game again.
