Since I saw the new layout to the forum, I wanted to know the rest of your thoughts on it.
Should Wizards, Sorcerers, Favored Soul, and Cleric all be in one sub category?
Voice your opinions!
It wouldn’t be so bad if all the threads had the proper tags associated with them.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
Divine and Arcane sub-categories make sense. One thing is cool though, I only follow divine and arcane class forums out of all classes. It's all in a same spot now.
Still I would rather go for arcane and divine categories. Would make sense.

I dislike all casters.
Unless they're played well.
Then I like all casters.
I think it has the possibility of working as long as we all follow a set of ground rules....
What ground rules are those Jortann?
Thanks for asking! Since I knew this might be an issue I took some time out of my busy schedule to set up a few rules that might help to make this transition smooth.
Check them out in this thread here ... http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=305794
And remember... Unity, peace, love, puppies and rainbows!

hate it.
sub forums could help. maybe someday we could get class forums.
Divine and arcane categories would be nice. Other than that, I think it's actually a good change - personally I used to read both the Cleric and FvS forums anyway, now I can get it all from one place.![]()
I see what you did there!
I hate it.
If I want wizard stuff, I want it all under one heading so that I don't have to sift through all the stuff that I don't want to look at.
Disappointed and without trust in the powers that be.

SIGNED.
At least they could have separated Divine from Arcane.
I just find it funny that melee-oriented, dump-Wisdom FvS builds are considered spellcasters, and yet max-Cha CC-oriented Spellsingers are not.
I don't have a zerging problem.
I'm zerging. That's YOUR problem.
The things that I dislike about the merging of the class sections are these:
1] Previously, if you wanted to reference a certain thread/build, but you didn't have that thread in your subscriptions, it wasn't particularly hard to find.
Now there will be three to four times as many threads to wade through to find that specific thread.
2] I often look down the list of subcatagories when looking through the New Posts. If there was an active thread from a subcat that I was interested in, I would look at the topic. I didn't look at the topic/thread title first. Usually the subcat first.
This is now pointless.
So not only will specific threads be harder to find, but it is also less user-friendly [for me anyway] with regards to active topics.
.
I saw a thread just now about a Cleric / Sorc mixed.
Now I understand why that build was made. It is because of the forum re-structuring.
Cheers!
I hate it.
As a new player who only has a cleric toon I find it a chore to trawl through all the other classes to find the info I want :-(
I'd like to be able to tag my threads with multiple labels that could be cross-referenced. That way, my bard could show up when people are looking for crowd controllers, but my dual khopesh favored soul would not. Think blogs or whatever.

Apparently this came about due to a DDO character creation screen. Instead of asking themselves if maybe their character startup screen (where they break all the classes up in to melee, specialty and spellcasting groups) was just an utterly stupid idea to begin with, they decided to make the forums emulate this bad design area.
