Has anyone else been expelled from the Blitz Guild recently? I was plus all of my alt characters? Just curious if Blitz was having a mass expel of guild members or something.

Eh un experienced guild that i would never want to raid or run any quests with anyways. If I where you I'd just move on.
yup expelled
Yes, all my toons were also expelled. There has been some trouble starting last sunday which has escalated to the current expells. Apparantly an officer who has not been online for a long time returned and decided to give the airship a major overhaul. Within the guild there is an agreement that changes to the ship are done after consulting with other officers. This 1 officer changed the whole ship, dropped a few things that were there and added other things.
Some players complained about the changes and were then banned by the returnig officer. This lead to some outrage by other members and officers, which escalated to more people getting banned. Insults were made and things got ugly. Since the guildleader has not been online for a long time due to personal problems, no one could kick the troublemaker. In a response to the mass kicking of members ( my toons were kicked eventhough I tried to stay out of the argument) the other officers made new changes to the ship and placed only mailboxes throughout the ship.
Things just got worse from there on and when I logged in yesterday, I noticed my toons were all kicked, as are the toons of all my friends. Some guildmembers have filed reporst and Turbine is looking into the situation, although I'm not sure what they can do. All renown is now lost. The entire guild was wiped out by a single bad apple in less than 3 days.
I know some regulars were talking about starting a new guild; people like Torsteel and Swingblade. Haven't been in touch with them, though.
I have been with Blitz since august or so. Don't know how good or bad they were in raids, but I always liked being part of Blitz. Most people were friendly, willing to help you out whether you were lvl 20 or just a noob starting your first toon at lvl 1. I really hate this whole turn of events and can't really understand why a player who has not been online for such a long time, would decided to destroy other people's gaming experience.
Thanks, I *think* I know which one you are talking about. I have been offline for the last two days and was a little shocked to come back to find myself being expelled. One of my toons had been with Blitz since before we had a guildship so this is a little sad. I am not a hardcore player who is on everyday for hours so i liked that about Blitz.
this is just sad.
I would happily join Torsteel/Swingblade in building up a brand new guild.
Primary toons: Jhaelythalas (wiz), Grimgorre (fighter/Pal), Jasiphire (cleric), Regelinn (rogue)

I was expelled too. This sucks because as a casual player Blitz was such a good guild for me. Lots of friendly, helpful players.
Any guilds recruiting casual players???
Toons: Nymphia (Sorcerer), Cardinalfang (Paladin), Klepticus (Rogue)
I am VERY sorry to hear about Blitz.
I was in Blitz for a little bit before I left to join a buddie's guild who really would LOVE me to join his..
Once again, I am sorry for what had happened! People are just so mean.![]()

I can assure you they are not. Had a similar incident in my original guild on Adar. Turbine will not interfere in guild politics. Unless the OG leader comes back long enough to name a succesor and then demotes himself your guild is dead. A moment of silence for the "Drunk Monks" of Adar...

To all you former Blitz players that had this happen to, I feel your pain. I know their leader and understand his absence is not easy for the guild.
If any of you have had problems and are in need of a good, strong guild mail me here or in game. Trojans is always looking for new, fresh faces. We are casual for the most part, but most of us are really pretty close. We welcome anyone that is social, knows how to have a good time, and willing to learn. Be prepared to have a sense of humor and try to get along with us though! Haha
My main character is in my sig line. We may have you run with us a little bit first, but we aren't as strenuous as other guilds
See ya in game!

I have contacted Torsteel and a lot of the former members of Blitz have united in Exiles. Swingblade and Torsteel are part of the new guild and I have seen a lot of familiar and friendly faces in the guild. Ofcourse the guild needs to rebuild from scratch, but former members are more than welcome. Send Swingblade, Torsteel or Adamonefive a message or an ingame mail and they will invite you to the guild.

One rogue officer destroyed the guild, we were powerless to prevent it. Leader is away, no second in command to usurp leadership. A very sad few days......
We have started a new guild, Exiles, which any former member of Blitz is welcome to join. Send an email to Torsteel, Swingbladez, Dragonhidee, Ghallando, or Akilik and you will be made welcome. Hope to see all old members back in the guild soon.
Torsteel
Yeah, both leader and successor were afk for over 2 months. Turbine didn't care about his abuse of other members and did not want to help.
Like Torsteel said, we've started a new guild called the exiles and look forward to this new start with all of the old members.
Ghallando.
Really though, why should Turbine get involved in guild drama? There's no way to prove that the mass booting was/wasn't justifiable. And how would they even go about rectifying such a situation? If anything it's a lesson in knowing who the eff your officers are and to not give anyone the ability the destroy the guild if you don't trust them implicitly.
Maybe you should be getting mad at the fact that your leader went AWOL and promoted such a ***** in the first place, not at Turbine for rightfully not getting involved in matters they have no place in.
Thank you for such a well formed opinion. Here's the answers for your questions:
why should they? because the guild charter was bought from them.
There IS a way to prove that, we've sent them screen shots of boorys saying he'll boot ppl just for fun and because someone changes the shrines. and besides - what could possibly justify booting EVERYONE that's not an officer by anyone other than the leader?
Rectifying option 1) remove his officer status (as asked). we'll do the rest.
Rectifying option 2) Allow one of the officers to become guild leader like we asked since the leader is gone for over 2 months.
About blaming the leader - the leader is gone due to problems in real life. They are FAR more important than anything in a game.
About "knowing who the eff your officers are" - he was fine up untill a few days ago. was contributing and helping, then disappeared for a few weeks and came back crazy. It's not like we can run a check on whoever we want to make officer.
There always has too be one who doesnt there......
we just lost a lvl 52 guild, and scattered guild member and some "BEEP" has to come across (puts on a squeeky voice) well you deserve it......
the type of person only a mother could love :P
we're back in business lvl 13 as i type, so we'll survive, thanks everyone for your thoughts.
We've decided to name our training dummy Boorys when we get one, so your all welcome to come and beat it to the ground.
Nymph-1, Grrr-1, Mumraa, Vampeel
Thanks for the info about Blitz. I am actually kind of relieved that it was just a psycho idiot. After taking all of those prestige end rewards to get our guild to higher levels, I was pretty p.o.'d to see my toons booted. Now that I know we are all "exiles" (good name), I am not really that mad about it. Looking forward to rejoining and helping us get back to strength.
