This thread is amusing...and probably not the kind of publicity you want matey. Just saying...people suddenly getting neg rep when they poke fun at the...boasting manner by which you addressed your guild, which would put it up besides well known and well respected titans is somewhat suspicious, whether you are personally capable of delivering the negs or not.
I'm not saying you DO have a high rep benefactor...but if ya do, it would be wise for him/her to not aid you so openly. Especially in your own thread.

I'm curious: why do you feel it necessary to force people to be loyal to your (embryonic) guild? Why not create a laid-back environment where people WANT to keep all their chars, etc?
I'm not having a go, I am genuinely curious. Personally, any guild with that sort of requirement (must pull all chars in, etc) is a massive turn-off for me, and were I looking for a guild, I'd bump it to the bottom of the list, regardless of what other advantages it might offer. Maybe that's just me.

I think the above response demonstrates the issue that's being identified here. Most (though not all) of your dialogue comes off as passive/aggressive. And any person of substance, who I assume you're trying to attract, will immediately identify this and the fact that such an attitude does not make a good leader. If anything, it makes for a lot of drama. And that is the opposite of what earns respect around here, from what I've seen.
I would suggest removing the above condition.
Guild first, last, and always – The people in the guild, are the guild. Respect, maturity, and skill of play are key desired attributes. Those two don't really go together... I have to renounce all other guild memberships, place my new guild above everything else...The guild owes you nothing – it is a privilege to be a member of Treason; you are one of the elite, and most respected on Thelanis.
Yet the guild (i.e. guild leader) owes me nothing?
ok, heres my last post on the subject....
Thelanis has a great history of top notch guilds. The guild you are trying to create already exists on many different levels.
Archangels was started with many of the same concepts, but we dont have a page of "Rules" on our website at all. We dont even have an "All In" policy. The only rule I expect from myself and my members is simple. Respect people.
When Ministry and I started the guild, we knew who we wanted. We both had many friends in the game. and that first week, behind the sceens, we contacted them and told them what we were creating. Before Archangels was officially announced, we had close to 10 solid respected members.
The original plan was to go no more than 20 or so members.... We're now at over 60. and while minor things pop up now and then, its been, for the most part, Drama free. Because we are very careful with our recruiting.
Creating a Top Tier guild is not an easy task. Its pretty crowded already.... AA, Legion, Inferus Sus, Erebus, Pestilence, Renowned, C&M and many many more have the players, skill, and respect already. not to mention the plethrea of "Mid tier" guilds that are no joke.
Very few people on the server have any idea who you are. And on Thelanis, that means a lot.
You have a pretty narrow vision of what you want.... Yet you couldn't find one person to start it with you?
Thats what prompted my initial reaction to this thread. Its like you completely trivialized all the hard work Thelanis's top guilds have put into their abilities and reputation.
I do wish you luck. I believe there is room at the top for the most part. but I think you are going about the whole process the wrong way.
Contacting you in game would be easier if you answered who your characters were. The other day none of your characters were public, though now they are. Should we assume all the characters in the guild are yours?

The following isn't a knock against you, just a comment on the age of your characters on Thelanis. Magnecrux is a half elf and is therefor relatively new. Fidderspit appears to have been created on 1/8/2011. Morganthou is certainly older, it appears you might have come back to the game in 11/2009 (2 months after the game went F2P), stopped playing a month later and resumed playing the character in 12/2010. (Note, you also did a quest in April of 2010). Now, you very well might have played on another server.
I feel like a detective.
