    Thank you!

Unfortunately however, this whole thing will be outdated once Update 11 comes out, so hopefully Turbine will release a new UI Art Pack soon.

Default Until there is a new UI Art Pack

    For those wondering:
    Update 11 changed:
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_background.tga
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_foreground.tga
    healthbar_brass_background.tga
    healthbar_brass_foreground.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_background.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground.tga
    healthbar_glass_overlay_health.tga
    healthbar_glass_overlay_mana.tga

    (probably removed
    auto_attack_micro*
but I haven't removed them from my skin yet until I confirm which might still be used.)

    and added:
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_background_pet.tga
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_foreground_pet.tga
    healthbar_brass_background_pet.tga
    healthbar_brass_foreground_pet.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_background_pet.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_3Bar.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_3Bar_pet.tga
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_pet.tga

    inv_tab_highlight_purple_01.tga
    inv_tab_highlight_purple_01_accept.tga
    inv_tab_normal_purple_01.tga
    inv_tab_rollover_purple_01.tga

For the image sizes, download Info Blue 1.7 and check them out.

Note that the smaller version of the player's Vitals Bar without the Portrait is not currently skinnable (or at least it wasn't last night on Lamannia when I put this all together), even-though the possible image tags exist in the .dat file. When they become skinnable, they will probably be named:
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_background_minimal
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_background_pet_minimal
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_foreground_minimal
    healthbar_3Bar_brass_foreground_pet_minimal
    healthbar_brass_background_minimal
    healthbar_brass_background_pet_minimal
    healthbar_brass_foreground_minimal
    healthbar_brass_foreground_pet_minimal

Also mentioned but don't do anything:
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_3Bar_highlight
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_3Bar_pet_highlight
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_highlight
    healthbar_fellowship_foreground_pet_highlight
    healthbar_fellowship_singleMeter_foreground_highli ght
Author of Info Blue UI Skin (Really wish Turbine would update the skinning interface and enable all the new UI parts.)
If you don't have an SSD, you should be using DDOPreload (fixes the slow first login issue)

Alright thanks for letting me know. I'll get around to reorganizing the files and such once I get more time.

We are hoping to release an updated UI Art Pack soon, although we do not have a current ETA on when it will be released. Thanks again, everyone, for making cool custom UI skins!

Thanks!!! Not entirely sure what an updated UI Art Pack consists of, but any updates to the new UI will probably be welcomed with standing ovations...

Will that art pack include the last UI? That'd be super.

Will UI packs have the ability to extend the health bars to a usable length once the update is released? Basically give people the ability to create a party UI similar to the old one using the new skins, or are forced into just providing a new border graphic to an already defined space.

While this is a good stop-gap measure, I would much rather they add the option to have the old UI style (as I have explained in my suggestion thread).

Don't get me wrong 100% agree, but the ability to allow users to control the length of their bars would be nice overall

    Huzzah!

Thanks for the info, Backley, and thanks for the good news Cordovan! Been driving myself batty the last couple weeks trying to figure out how to update my UI skin.

The "UI Art Pack" is a UI Skin that matches the built-in (non-skinned version) of the UI. It is a starting point to make your own skins from, since it has all the available images you can edit and shows what they start as.

The update will include the new versions of the player/party bars.

No, the current UI Skin technology only allows us to change the look of each element, not change sizing/positioning at all. This updated UI Art Pack won't get us the old bars back or make the current bars' sizing/spacing editable.

    Boo!
Even if it is pretty to look at, ....

This goes back to the old saying "You can't polish a turd". Which is actually incorrect, because MythBusters did in fact prove that it can be done.

Still doesn't change the base material though.

Custom skins wouldn't be necessary if YOU had been doing your job properly in the first place.

As much as I am in agreement with the general sentiment, Cordovan is a Forum Mod and not in the Graphics/Art department or a Dev, so you may wish to redirect that ForumAggro to the correct folks. Just sayin'.

...Hordo is right, Cordovan has no control over how the game is developed, so he doesn't deserve your criticism.

Also, custom skins would still be necessary. There is no such thing as one perfect UI skin that everyone will like and use; this is why Turbine has given us the option to make out own skins. Personally, I just like making my own UI skin because it's fun, gives me something to do, and basically you're putting your own personality into it to make it unique to you.

Hopefully the updated art pack comes out soon though.

    Alright, BIG UPDATE TIME!

I re-sorted a whole bunch of stuff with more groups of folders. Of course this means slightly more navigation, but it should also be even easier than before to find what you need.

Also, the organized UI pack is now updated with the update 13.
